Tsunami Disaster - Aid & Resources

As Southern Asia struggles to cope with the aftermath of the huge Tsunami waves, global aid organisations have launched urgent appeals for donations to help survivors of the disaster.

The Disasters Emergency Commitee

The DEC is an umbrella group of 12 UK aid organisations - including Action Aid, British Red Cross and Oxfam - working to provide clean water, food and shelter to thousands.

You can give to them in the following ways:

By telephone 0870 60 60 900. You can make your donation by credit or debit card. The lines are open 24 hours a day.

Online at www.dec.org.uk

By post. Please make your cheques payable to the: DEC Tsunami Earthquake Appeal and send it to PO Box 999, London.

In person: You should also be able to make a donation at any high street bank or post office.
